Gluten Free Breakfast Treats~Kerry

He said to them, “This is what the Lord commanded: ‘Tomorrow is to be a day of sabbath rest, a holy sabbath to the Lord. So bake what you want to bake and boil what you want to boil. Save whatever is left and keep it until morning.’”  Exodus 16:23

A Delicious, But Gluten Free, Sunday Morning Breakfast!!!

Dairy Free Mocha Breakfast Smoothie by along with her yummy GF Glazed Donut Muffins!  These would make Sunday morning even more special as we get ready to worship with our church family!

Right now I have a GF Coffee Cake cooling on the counter and I didn’t even have to make it.  The girls had a sweet friend, Lydia, spending the night, who says it is so delicious that she had to memorize the recipe!  So, together they whipped it up before dinner.  I am already looking forward to a taste in the morning.  Kyle, our 8 year old son looked at the cake and said “wow, what is that?”  I told him it was a Coffee Cake for the morning.  He wrinkled his nose and replied, “coffee in a cake???”  “No,” I said.  “It is just to eat with your coffee in the morning.”  “Oh, then why don’t you just call it ‘Morning Cake’ then.”  I think he is on to something.  I will get that recipe posted if it tastes as good as it looks!
Please share some of your tried and true breakfast treats!  We can all use a new recipe (it doesn’t even have to be GF as not all of our subscribers are) to add to our repertoire can’t we! You could even take a picture and email the recipe and picture to us.  Then we could post your yummy recipe! And if you have gluten free eaters, share this on your Facebook page.  Gluten Free eaters need all the help they can get!
Looking Forward to a Lovely Sabbath,
