If you have ever tried gluten-free baking you will know one of the most important things you must have is a good gluten-free flour mix. Yet this can be hard to come across especially if you are just starting out with gluten-free baking.
Although we have tried ones you buy at the store and many other combinations of our own this recipe from a friend has been our favorite. With a good gluten-free recipe and this flour mix it has become increasingly easy to make baked goods that taste “normal.”
If you haven’t yet I highly encourage you to make your own flour mix. It is worth the effort 100% when baking gluten-free and only takes a couple of seconds to make.
Unless we specify otherwise this is the recipe we are using when you find “gluten-free flour mix” in other recipes on our blog.
Gluten Free Flour Mix
3 cups Brown Rice Flour
1 1/4 cups Potato Starch
3/4 cups Tapioca Flour
Mix together and store in a container you can seal!
